However I did manage to see a small part of it in the 2 days I had.
Visited the Red Square, St Basils Cathedral, Kremlin, GUM shopping centre, Pushkin museum of art and sculpture.
According to some, Ivan the Terrible was so happy with the finished St Basils Cathedral he had the architects eyes removed so he could not surpass it antwhere else! Ouch. It would be hard to take that as a complement.
